The Children's Workforce Learning Network closed on the 31st October 2008 and is no longer in operation. For information about the children’s voluntary sector in the South West, please visit www.ncvcco.org.

Thanks for all your support over the last few years.

The CWLN team.

Welcome to the CWLN, a voluntary and community sector partnership in South West England between the National Council of Voluntary Childcare Organisations (NCVCCO), Barnardo's and The Open University, in partnership with the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC). The purpose of the CWLN is to support work-based learning and continuing professional development for volunteers, employees and employers.
Our methodology is to bring groups of learners together in Communities of Practice. Each of these
has its own discussion area and these can be found by clicking on the relevant link in the 'Communities of Practice' box on the left hand side of this page.
